An impaired driver is also facing assault charges against an officer.
On Friday, Southern Georgian Bay OPP spotted a car speeding on Highway 93 in Midland.
Police pulled the driver over and believed she was driving drunk.
Officials say the woman assaulted the officer speaking to her and tried to disarm him.
The other officer helped bring the woman down and she was arrested.
The 19-year-old from Penetanguishene was in Barrie for a bail hearing later that day.
