More rain is on the way and it’s going to lead to more flooding in Muskoka.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is keeping the flood warning in effect for areas like Bala Beach and Muskoka River.

Officials say the water levels in these areas are already above the flooding threshold and will continue to rise with more rainfall this week.

The flood watch for the rest of the district is also going to remain in effect until Monday.

If you’re in an area that’s prone to flooding the MNRF says you should be prepared.
