A group of friends will band together to battle dragons, brave dungeons and help a few local kids.
The Bearded Maidens will be meeting next Sunday to hold a special 24-hour tournament of Dungeons and Dragons at Tea-Beards in Gravenhurst.
Owner of Tea-Beards Alissa Ahsome says this is the second year they’ve run this marathon, which is to help raise funds to send a local kid to summer camp.
Ahsome says a lot goes in to planning a 24-hour Dungeons and Dragons marathon.
She says the money raised will go to the YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance.
