Orillia OPP asking residents to be aware of vehicle break-ins

The Orillia OPP wants residents to be aware of overnight thefts in the area.

Police say, several vehicles were broken into on Monday night, with a number of items having been stolen.

Police received six reports of theft in the area of Bay Street and Maple Street, along with Drinkwater Street, Hughes Street and Fittons Road East.

In most cases, the vehicles were left unlocked.

A garage on Bay Street was also broken into, and a black and white Giant bicycle was stolen.

Police are asking you to report any suspicious activity to them immediately.
