There is just one week left to register for the YWCA’s ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’.
Officials with the Muskoka event say they are looking for a few good men to help share the message of the campaign.
There is no fee to register and you can sign up as an individual or a team.
Once registered you can share your goals with family and friends and challenge your buddies to register as well.

The event sees men walking a mile in large pairs of ladies red high heel shoes.
The intent is to bring more awareness to the issue of sexual violence against women.
Proceeds raised will also go to YWCA Muskoka programs.
