Muskoka Athletes headed to the 2016 Special Olympic National Winter Games

There will be five athletes headed to Newfoundland to represent Ontario at the 2016 Special Olympic National Winter Games.

With 200 athletes in the games in Corner Brook, the five local athletes will compete in Cross Country Skiing and Floor Hockey. They will be showcasing their abilities, courage and drive that continue to demonstrate the spirit of the Special Olympics.

The games will take place from March 1st to 5th.

The Nationals are a qualifier for the 2017 Special Olympic World Winter Games in Austria.
