What looked to be an oil spill in Lake of Bays was actually gasoline from a generator.
Huntsville OPP says they received a call on Saturday November 14th about oil around the shore of Osborne Point. After police flew over the scene they discovered it was in fact gasoline.
The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department managed to control the spill.
The Ministry of Environment was notified and they are continuing their investigation.
