The post office and second-story clock tower in Gravenhurst may become a heritage site.
The town has begun the process to pass a bylaw to designate the property as such.
Town official Jeremy Rand says the building is one of many that the town is considering.
The town is offering residents until Sept 5 to appeal the decision before its brought before council.
