The public will have to wait until the end of December to find out what happens to the CN Train Station and the Culture Station in Huntsville.
Council renewed the lease for the building until the end of the year so council can figure out a plan for a long-term lease agreement. Council voted not in favor of the proposed idea to sell to a real estate agent. Mayor Scott Aitchison says, for this agreement to be renewed, council will have to see what can be worked out with CN.
The Culture Station reportedly had over 730 signatures from the community and visitors to help keep the station where it is.
