When Life Throws You a Mystery with author C. Hope Clark

Muskoka Authors Association welcomes Author, C. Hope Clark via ZOOM on Thursday, July 14. With fifteen books in print in three different series, Clark is a mistress of the Mystery genre. She will share her journey and talk about a field of writing that pits author against reader, each daring to out-think the other. The author will join us via ZOOM; however, members and guests are invited to meet live at the Bracebridge Centre for Active Living, 54 Dominion Street, Bracebridge.

If Clark hadn’t been offered a bribe and sucked into a federal investigation, she’d have never detoured to travel the road of novelist. Twenty years later she is a full-time writer, part novelist and part freelancer. She’s an active participant in Writer’s Digest products and motivational speaker at writer’s conferences. Clark has narrated her novels for audio books, her stories being accepted into the National Library for its Talking Book Services for the blind and reading disabled.

Besides authoring novels in The Carolina Slade Mysteries, The Edisto Island Mysteries, and The Craven County Mysteries, she is the founder and editor of FundsforWriters, deemed one of the Writer’s Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers for 21 years in a row. The website reaches 25,000 readers. Her work is published in The Writer Magazine, Writer’s Digest, Guide to Literary Agents, Writer’s Market, and other trade and online publications.

Hope lives on the banks of Lake Murray in South Carolina where she walks the saltwater coast of Edisto Beach, ever spinning another tale. She is currently under contract with her publisher for three more books. She hopes to write to the very tippy-toe ending of her days.”
