Bracebridge Library hopes you ‘Say Yes to Your Dress’

The Bracebridge Library is offering free dresses and suits for those hunting for something nice to wear to prom or their graduation ceremony.

Leah Perron, children and youth services librarian, says the drop-in event is happening on May 11 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 94 Manitoba St. on a first-come-first-serve basis.

“We have something for everyone’s style,” adds Perron.

She says they have floor-length, ball gown-style dresses to ones that are a bit more casual. Also, she points out they have a bunch of suits along with shoes, purses, jewelry, and other accessories.

“It’s yours forever,” says Perron.

She explains the event is run thanks to donations. The library calls out to those looking to get rid of gently used dresses or suits to donate them to the library.
