OSPCA investigating suspected animal cruelty after two dead cats discovered in Almaguin

The OSPCA needs your help to find out how and why two cats were killed in Burk’s Falls.

Last week, the two dead cats were discovered in a ditch at the intersection of Katrine Road and Ontario Street. Officials say one cat had a severe head injury, while the other suffered chest trauma. The animals were discovered lined up and facing opposite directions. They’re described as a black female with white markings on her paws and a black-haired male.

Anyone with information is asked to call the OSPCA to help with the investigation. You can leave your tip with the animal cruelty hotline at 310-7722.
