After a summer filled with fire bans in the Almaguin area, the fire danger rating is now lower.
Almaguin fire officials dropped the rating to moderate, meaning outdoor fires can be lit two hours before dusk. Fires also must be put out two hours after sunrise and fire officials suggest always keeping a bucket of water or sand nearby at all times.
Daytime burning is still banned.
