There is a purple flag flying at the Municipal Office in Bracebridge that hopes to raise awareness in Bracebridge over the danger of Pancreatic Cancer.
On Tuesday morning Cindy Bailey and others who have been impacted by the fast-acting disease stood with Mayor Graydon Smith to raise the special flag.
Smith says the town is happy to continue efforts of raising awareness with the flag.
November is Pancreatic Cancer awareness month.
