It’s time to change the clocks as daylight saving time arrives this weekend. But, it’s also time to change batteries in alarms that could save a life.
The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department is asking everyone to install new batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your home.
It’s the law to have working alarms in all levels and sleeping areas. Officials also remind everyone to plan and practice your home fire escape plan if there is an emergency.
