Annual ‘Halloween Trick or Treat Mini Golf’ in support of SMHF takes place this weekend

Northern Escapades Mini Putt will be hosting the 9th annual ‘Halloween Trick or Treat Mini Golf’ event this weekend (Oct. 24-26) with all proceeds being donated to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation (SMHF).

SMHF says last year they raised $1,972.15, and Northern Escapades matched and rounded that number to $4,000.

“We love hosting this event every year and watching the community come together to support the hospital,” said Bill & Marilyn Rothdeutsch, owners of Northern Escapades Mini Golf. “This year, we’re hoping to make our biggest donation yet to the hospital and spread the Halloween spirit throughout the entire weekend!”

Officials say each participant will be entered for the chance to win one of three outdoor Halloween decorations, and all children will receive a festive goody bag filled with treats (while supplies last).

They are encouraging participants to dress up in their costumes although it is not a requirement.

Admission for adults is a minimum donation of $10 and for children 12 and under its $7.
