Drive for Your Hospital Tent event raises more than $37,000 for local healthcare

Performance Auto Group’s 12th annual Drive for Your Hospital Tent event has raised $37,200 for local healthcare.

From August 1 to 31, $200 from every vehicle sold at Huntsville Dodge, Huntsville Honda, and Hyundai of Muskoka was donated to the hospital foundation or health centre of the buyer’s choice, raising $30,200 for Huntsville Hospital Foundation, $3,200 for South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, and $3,800 for West Parry Sound Health Centre.

Officials said the community fundraising initiative provides local hospitals with the equipment and resources they need to deliver exceptional care.

“Muskoka is home to our customers, our employees and our families, and we’re proud to continue investing in the communities we serve,” said Jef Green, Muskoka Regional Manager of Performance Auto Group. “Our annual Drive for Your Hospital event is a wonderful opportunity to bring our team and customers together in support of local healthcare.”

Katherine Craine, CEO of Huntsville Hospital Foundation, expressed her gratitude for Performance Auto Group and the community’s continued support.

“We are so grateful to our friends at Performance Auto Group for once again delivering incredible results for Huntsville Hospital,” said Craine. “Their enthusiasm, together with the generosity of their customers, will make a meaningful difference for our hospital.”

Since the event began, Performance Auto Group has raised $234,000 for Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
