The Town of Huntsville has named its new Director of Operations.
Officials say Acting Director of the department Randy Bissonette has been hired for the role full time, after filling it since late 2023.
“We are very happy to be welcoming Randy to our team as the Town of Huntsville’s new Director of Operations. We are thrilled that the Town will be benefitting from Randy’s wealth of municipal operations experience,” says town CAO Denise Corry. “Randy is a long-time Muskokan, with very strong local knowledge gained through an impressive career working for area municipalities, as well as the District of Muskoka.”
Bissonette came out of retirement in early 2023 to be Huntsville’s acting Manager of Operations. For seven years, he did the same job at the Town of Bracebridge, and for 25 filled various positions at the District of Muskoka.
