Huntsville’s Director of Operations and Protective Services has left the town.
Chief Administrative Officer Denise Corry confirms that Tarmo Uukkivi, who has served in the role since early 2022, is no longer employed by the municipality. The vacancy was discussed in closed session at Monday’s town council meeting.
According to Corry, the town has “retained an individual” to take over Uukkivi’s duties until a replacement is found. She adds that they will start hiring for the position very soon, with an ad likely going out before week’s end.
“We are so very fortunate to have an amazing team in our operations Division, and the Corporation as a whole, that will continue to provide services within our community,” says Corry in an email. “I am confident that there will be no disruptions to services during this transition.”
