Scarborough man charged with trafficking and posession of stolen property

A 30 year old Scarborough man is facing charges after he was stopped for speeding on Highway 11 in Oro Medonte. This morning just after 1am, OPP stopped the blue Mazda he was driving which had been travelling southbound. They checked the man and found out the car was stolen. He was also driving while under suspension for unpaid fines. Police then searched the vehicle and found ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine and cash. He’s charged with trafficking the drugs and two counts of property obtained by crime. He’s in Barrie court today for a bail hearing.
