Muskoka’s MP and MPP disagree on Conservative leadership candidate

Muskoka’s provincial and federal government representatives have a difference of opinion when it comes to the next Conservative leader. Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has recently endorsed Durham MP Erin O’Toole. Meanwhile, MP Tony Clement continues to support Maxime Bernier, who’s from Quebec.

Miller says he is supporting O’Toole because of his policies.

However, Clement has said Bernier is the better choice as he has the ideas, experience, and ability to lead the party and beat Justin Trudeau in the next election.

More about O’Toole’s policies are on his website, and Clement also his platform online.

Miller says anyone who wants to vote for the next leader can do so with a Conservative Party membership.
