CNIB Lake Joe: Dock-to-Dock: Taste of Muskoka

On Saturday, August 13th, the CNIB Lake Joe Vision Team and CNIB Lake Joe fundraising committee will host “CNIB Lake Joe: Dock to Dock – Taste of Muskoka event to raise essential funds for CNIB Lake Joe.This year, make waves and help raise funds to support CNIB Lake Joe’s NEW Watersports Program for people with sight loss! A new waterski boat, equipment and accessories will provide the opportunity enhance our adaptive waterski program and make it possible for everyone to experience the thrill of waterskiing and increase waterfront programming activities like wake boarding and tubing.
Participants are invited to register their dock online and start gathering friends and support for this great cause.
The first 50 dock hosts who commit to a fundraising goal of $1,000 or more will receive a specially curated “Dock Box” loaded with local food and drink goodies to reflect the Taste of Muskoka and the contributions of the Muskoka Lakes.
Each ‘dock’ will be asked to pledge a fundraising goal or raise funds towards the waterski program. Sponsors and participants will be recognized with prizes, social media mentions and other celebratory support.
CNIB will have a party pontoon cruising the three main lakes for live and virtual visits with local celebrities, live entertainment, CNIB representatives, and exciting giveaways to support registered docks.
