COTTAGE COUNTRY, ON- The first burst of winter has knocked out power to thousands of people this morning.
As of 7:00 a.m. there were more than 100 outages across cottage country of varying   size.
The majority do not have a cause listed at the moment, with no estimated time of restoration.
The Lake of Bays area has 3,375 customers without power.
62 customers on the east shore of Fairy Lake are out.
909 customers in the Sprucedale area don’t have power.
344 customers near Magnetawan are also in the dark.
176 near Sundridge don’t have power.
1434 customers around Eagle Lake are listed to have no power.
And towards Georgian Bay, there are 6,379 customers the Port Severn area that have no power.
