COTTAGE COUNTRY, ON- If you’re looking at the leaves changing, don’t go too slow.
That’s the word from the Central Region OPP. In a message from the region posted today, officers warn that anyone driving too slowly can wind up with a ticket.
“Can you get a ticket for driving too slow? YES YOU CAN!” read the region’s message.
“The fall colours are amazing, but driving at well under the speed limit to look at them creates a dangerous situation for all drivers. Unnecessary Slow Driving = $110 and two demerit points.”
Anyone heading north to check out the foliage should keep the message in mind.
