HUNTSVILLE, ON- A 12-hour radiothon has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for local healthcare.

From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Moose 105.5 held our annual Thanksgiving Hospital RadioThon for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

Each year, 105.5 Moose FM reaches out to the community looking for donations.

This year, the funds are going towards purchasing priority equipment.

Cottage Country Cluster Manager Jenny Hodge says this is just part of Moose FM’s commitment to stay local and proud.

“We’re excited to continue supporting both Muskoka’s hospital sites with our annual radiothon,” says Hodge. “Every year, it’s amazing to see how our community partners, our clients and, most importantly, our listeners come together to get behind such a worthy cause.”

Just over $62,198 was raised for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

Donations, support from sponsors all helped to make it possible.

The Moose would like to thank everyone who donated and volunteered to help raise money throughout the day.
