Science North at Bracebridge Public Library – one day only

BRACEBRIDGE, ON – The Sudbury-based Science North museum is visiting the Bracebridge library tomorrow afternoon.

Specifically, families will be able to explore the science of space. Ashleigh Whipp, the children’s librarian said there will be plenty of activities to keep kids engaged and learning about the planets in our solar system.

“They are bringing in activities like constellation building, Mars Rover programming and an astronaut challenge, “ she explained.

Topics include the planets, stars, gravity, and space exploration.

A total of seven interactive stations are filled with hands-on activities. While space is infinite, the space for tomorrow afternoon’s session is limited and requires a call to Whipp for registration at 705-645-4171.  It takes place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the library, 94 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge.

The activity is free and open to all ages.
