RAMARA, ON- Police are looking into why a man was stabbed in Ramara on Monday morning.
According to the Orillia OPP detachment, officers responded to a call at a home along Logan Lane around 2:20 a.m. on Monday morning, where they found a badly injured 23 year old man.
Paramedics tended to the man, and he was subsequently flown to hospital in Toronto via air ambulance where he remains in critical condition.
Officers found that the man had been stabbed multiple times, and an investigation into the circumstances around the assault is ongoing.
The Orillia OPP along with Orillia OPP Crime Unit and Central Region Forensic Identification Services are all part of the investigation. It is believed to be an isolated incident and police do not feel there is a threat to public safety.
