Bracebridge residents can get vouchers to help with flood cleanup.

The vouchers will allow people to bring material to the dump at no cost as the town starts recovering from the historic high water levels.

Vouchers are available tomorrow (Sunday) at Town of Bracebridge Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Monday to Friday people can get vouchers during normal business hours 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Each property is entitled to one Waste Disposal Voucher that can be used at the Rosewarne Transfer Station during operating hours.

It is good for up to one half-ton and single axle trailer of flood-related debris.

The vouchers are available to property owners that have had solid waste generated from the 2019 flood and do not have insurance that can help cover the cost of removing solid waste.

Vouchers can be used until July 2nd. Sandbags can be brought to the Rosewarne Transfer station and dropped off for free. No vouchers are required. Sandbags are not considered recyclable items.
