The Huntsville community has come together to help save lives. Canadian Blood Services hosted a blood donation clinic at Faith Baptist Church last Monday. Territory Manager Julie Rose says the results were outstanding.

Rose says the need is still great and hopes the people who donated will make an appointment for the next clinic in Huntsville on November 22nd at the Waterloo Summit Centre. The clinic is normally held at the Canada Summit Centre. Although Huntsville’s clinic had a great turnout, Rose says the need is still great.

As we move into the holiday season Canadian Blood Services says it’s one of the most important times to donate blood. Rose says they often see a lot of people feeling the need to give more than material things.

Making an appointment to donate blood can be done in three ways. You can call 1-888-2-DONATE, go to www.blood.ca or download the app on your smartphone.
