(Kelly Koner photo) Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Secondary School is holding its annual yard sale. Students are already organizing the 2018 Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Secondary School Yard Sale. (Kelly Koner Photo) It’s in support of the Muskoka Children’s Foundation. The sale takes place in the entry area of the school on Saturday, running from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Kelly Koner, who is in Grade 12, is one of the student organizers and says last year’s sale netted $1000 for the Foundation. One of the toughest parts of this year’s sale, she says, is organizing all the donated items. “The final setup has been a lot,” Koner admits. “We have to bring out all our tables and organize everything people have been donated.” She is happy with how many items have been provided. “It’s been a lot so far,” she says. “It’s looking pretty good.” Tables are organized with items from $3 to $20 and there is a silent auction as well. “We’ve got everything from board games to kids toys, plates and we have a dining set,” Koner explains. BML Secondary School is located at 100 Clearbrook Trail in Bracebridge.
