Mother nature is not likely to offer a sunny long weekend in Muskoka

If you were hoping for fun in the sun this long weekend you may be disappointed.

Environment Canada is predicting cool and wet weather as the first cottager long weekend kicks off in Muskoka. Meteorologist Gerald Chang says we can expect this type of weather volatility for the next few weeks as well.

Before the May long weekend, Chang says we’ll get a good taste of summer-like weather.

The current forecast predicts light showers on Saturday, with heavier rainfall Sunday. However, Chang says it’s still early and the forecast could change.
