An inmate at Beaver Creek is dead.
Correctional Service Canada reported 65-year-old Steven Hill died of natural causes over the weekend while being held in the medium-security unit. Hill was serving nine years for criminal negligence causing death and indignity to a dead body. He was imprisoned in 2010. His family was reportedly notified of his death.
CSC will be running an internal investigation into the death.
