UPDATE: Bracebridge OPP reports Santa’s Village Road has re-opened after district crews worked through the night to fix a water main break.

You could be in for a detour on the way home tonight. Drivers are asked to avoid Santa’s Village Road, as it is closed at property #331 due to emergrency watermain repairs. The District of Muskoka says there is alternative access through Golden Beach Road.
The closure is expected to be completed overnight, and so far no reports of any homes in the area being without water. More details will be released when they become available.
