It’s going to be an exciting year for Gravenhurst. That’s according to the Chamber of Commerce, which held its annual meeting in March saying that after a few years of losing money, last year was profitable for the town. Executive Director Sandy Lockhart says the Chamber is happy with the results of 2017.
Lockhart continued to say that their membership revenue is also going up.Â
The membership service is made up of a variety of activities in the area that help local businesses with growth and collaboration opportunities.  Chamber membership is said to help local business owners connect with the community and understand local commodities. Lockhart says they have a growing number of involved members that are satisfied with the service.
