Merkley Road Closed from March 19th – 24th

Expect detours in the town of Gravenhurst on Monday.

According to town officials, there will be a need to close Merkley Road to the Lewisham Road area to allow emergency replacement of a large diameter culvert.

After a delay due to water levels within the Gartersnake Watershed, it’s being said that favourable levels of water will now allow the town to resume the project. 

During this time period, Merkley Road will be fully closure at municipal address 1405. Authorities are saying accommodations have been put in place for residents impacted by this short road closure.

Fowler Construction Company is planning to have finished their duties by Saturday March 24^th.
