UPDATE 2:30pm: Majority of outages restored. Any homes still without power should be restored by 4pm.
Nearly 2,000 homes are without power in Muskoka this morning.
The outage hit after strong winds and freezing rain moved through the district earlier. In Bracebridge, over 1,200 homes are affected with a restoration time of 11 am. Two outages in the Georgian Bay area are affecting about 200 homes and should be restored by 11:30. Homes without power in the Muskoka Lakes area should be back up between 10 and noon.
