A man accused in the death of an 8-year-old boy is facing trial in October.
David Sillars was charged with impaired operation of a vessel causing death after Thomas Rancourt drowned on the Muskoka River in Bracebridge when the canoe he was in overturned.
The trial is scheduled to start on October 15th in Oshawa.
