Frigid temperatures in Muskoka aren’t going away anytime soon

Pull on that parka because it’s going to be very cold in Muskoka.

According to Environment Canada, the district is going to feel like an icebox for this week as arctic air hangs around. Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says this may be the norm for the rest of this year.

The high for Wednesday in Muskoka is expected to reach minus 15 without the windchill. This is 12 degrees colder than the average high for this time of year. The wind chill is expected to make it feel like minus 30 or colder for the rest of the week.
