TLDSB reviews the start of an innovative learning project in Huntsville called Edwin

Grade 8 students in Huntsville are the test subjects for a new innovative program.

The kids at Riverside Public School have all been equipped with a new digital backpack called Edwin. Edwin is a Dell laptop provided by the Trillium Lakelands District School Board. The device can convert into a tablet and has interactive learning tools and electronic textbooks to help the kids learn.

This pilot project, which is also running at a school in Lindsay, will help the board decide whether or not to put Edwin in more schools in the TLDSB region.
