UPDATE: The District of Muskoka reports Echo Lake Road has been reopened to traffic.
A road in Lake of Bays will be closed next week for construction.
Echo Lake Road just east of Muskoka Road 117 will be closed from October 18th to October 30th for bridge repairs. District of Muskoka crews need to repair the concrete slab bridge over the Kawpakwakog River.
On weekends there will be a temporary bridge set up for pedestrians during the construction period. Drivers needing to get around the construction can use Muskoka Road 117.
