The man charged in the death of two people after a boat crash in Ryerson is in court today. On June 30th a ski boat hit a pedal boat on Bartlett Lake. McMurrich/Monteith resident Bozena Mercik was in the pedal boat, but died on her way to hospital. The body of her husband, Zdzislaw Mercik, was found a few days later. The 46-year-old driver of the ski boat, Andrew Reid is in court today to answer to charges including negligence and careless operation of a vessel causing death.
