Parents with kids at the YMCA Child Care Centre at Deerhurst Resort will have to find a new centre. Regional Manager with the YMCA of Simcoe Muskoka Tracy Hansen says this was not their decision.

Hansen says they are working with families to find spots at their home child care program or at a different daycare.

The centre will officially close in September. Hansen says they are proud of the positive impact they’ve had with families over the last seven years. Hansen says they have considered relocating.
