Huntsville mayor and council will gather the round table at Town Hall for their regular meeting this afternoon. Paddle for Fairvern is on the agenda to make a deputation to council about the upcoming event next month. Council will also vote on various reports from committees and bylaws. They will also discuss a request to the District for an Environmental Assessment on Muskoka Road 3 from Lorne to Chaffey Streets.
Meantime, a school from Toronto is coming before council to hand in a petition to save our local forests. Grades 1 to 8 students from Voice Integrative School in Toronto are working to create bylaws that would save the trees and they are hoping for council support. Meeting starts at 1pm.
