Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) exceeds provincial standards in patient satisfaction for acute and emergency care. The Ontario Hospital Association’s (OHA) Patient Satisfaction Survey was done from October 1st to December 31st 2013.

In that survey, 98.3 per cent of acute care patients were happy with their services at MAHC compared to the 92.7 per cent provincial average. CEO Natalie Bubela says we strive to provide outstanding care that is people focused. She also says the positive response wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of the physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and other point of care staff at MAHC.

The survey also showed a 94 per cent overall satisfaction rate for emergency care services at MAHC’s two hospital sites, in Bracebridge and Huntsville, compared to the 85.5 per cent provincial average. Click here for the detailed survey results.
