The Town of Bracebridge is saying thank you to employees that have served with the community for 10 years or longer.

On Wednesday, council took a moment during its monthly meeting to present awards to all 32 of these town workers.

This included employees in administration, council, public works and even volunteer firefighters.

Mayor Graydon Smith, who was one of the 10-year veterans, says he is very happy to see so many employees building their careers with the town.

There were 24 employees who have been with the town since 2006, four since 2001, two since 1996 and two have been with Bracebridge since 1991.
