Perry Township is going to be featured on a future episode of a TVO show. The show called Giver will focus on revamping 10 playgrounds across Ontario. Deputy Clerk Brian Gilmer says Emsdale Community Park was one of the 10 chosen.

The build is happening from August 8th to August 10th. The Parks and Rec Association of Ontario put out a call for potential hosts of this show and Gilmer says it was an easy decision to take part.

Gilmer says although Giver will pay for a large portion of the project, the town has also contributed in their dedication to improve the quality of life to their residents. The Township of Perry is looking for help in rebuilding.
