Police are still investigating the cause of a fatal houseĀ fire in Gravenhurst.
On Wednesday morning, emergency crews were called out to the home on North Street.
OPP Officer Samantha Bigley says a few brave EMS workers arrived first on the scene and attempted to save the woman inside.
However, theĀ crews were not able to save 48-year-old April Doubleday and Bigley says her animals in the home perished in the fire as well.
Police have brought in their forensic experts to join the Fire Marshall in finding the exact cause of the fire.
Bigley is asking anyone with information on this fire to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
