Huntsville High School is celebrating the success of one of its Nordic Ski Team Alumni.
Former student and athlete Emily Jones was recently selected to receive the Ontario University Athletics Scholarship from Cross Country Ontario.
According to details, Jones has been competing as a skiier with Carleton University Ravens Nordic Ski Program for the past two years.
Officials at the school say there are a total of ten former Huntsville Nordic Ski athletes competing under the OUA and Canadian InterUniversity Sports teams for this school season.
