Huntsville OPP is reaching out to residents with some suggestions to be better prepared for the next snowfall.
On Thursday, police responded to about 15 collisions in the Huntsville region.
Officers attribute most of these incidents to drivers not being prepared for winter driving.
Police say it is important to get your winter tires on soon and always scrape all ice and snow from windows and lights.
The biggest thing drivers need to remember is to drive according to conditions.
This includes slowing down on slippery roads, leaving extra space for other vehicles and plan your trip accordingly.
Officers also advise keeping a safety kit in your vehicle in case you become stranded.
