Bantam Bears going pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Cavalcade Bantam Bears are raising awareness and money this month for a very special cause.

On Sunday, the Bears will play host to the Oro Thunder in Gravenhurst and all proceeds from the game will be donated to the Breast Cancer Society.
The bears are taking things one step further as well in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month by holding a bottle drive on Saturday at the Bracebridge Arena.
This will run alongside the Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association that goes from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Officials with the Bears say this has inspired the Oro Thunder to run their own bottle drive on Saturday as well.
The boys with the Thunder will present their collected funds to the Bears before the game on Sunday.
